The bag of woven cornhusks has a different design on each side. The bag has a drawstring closure of leather and a loop of yarn closure.

One side has diamond shapes, in horizontal rows of 3,2,3,2,3. The designs are almost all dyed wool, except the four in the corners, which are dyed cornhusk. The top and bottom rows each have a center diamond of red outlined with blue (the blue is dyed cornhusk). The end diamonds are pink with a red outline (also dyed cornhusk). The rows of two larger diamonds have the same design in either row, with the positions reversed. One diamond is dark blue with a red cross in the center. The diamond is outlined in yellow and light blue. The other diamond is light blue with a red cross in the center. The diamond is outlined in darker blue and yellow. The middle row of three diamonds has a light blue diamond in the middle with a red outline and two yellow diamonds with a light blue outline.

The other side has five rows of three triangles, a larger one in the center and smaller ones to the sides. The top row has a center triangle with vertical stripes of yellow, orange, purple (all cornhusk) and red, outlined in dark blue. The side triangles are red and green outlined in dark blue. The next row is the same as the fourth row. The center triangle is outlined in dark blue and has a field of yellow with two open purple "bowtie" shapes. The side triangles are light green with a yellow design. The middle row of triangles are all dark blue, with white horizontal stripes and outlined in red. The bottom center triangle is outlined in dark blue, with a vertical white stripe. Either side of the white stripe has a band of red, blue, and pink filling the field. The side triangles have the same decoration, with an outline of light blue, a vertical stripe of dark blue, and bands of pink, dark blue, and light green.
