Description

Color print depicting the actor Nakamura Nakazō I (1736-1790) in the role of Nezumishi in th eplay Kogame no hana gaijin Aramusha, staged at the Nakamuraya starting the first day of the eleventh month of 1766. The man is holding the end of a banner in his proper right hand, the end of which is embroidered with a peach-colored and green floral pattern, and the other end of which is held by Ichikawa Danjūrō IV. The man is holding a long sword in his left hand. He is wearing a floor-length robe, the top of which is peach-colored and green, with a floral pattern along the sleeves. The floor is green. Decoration of maple leaves in background.
