Wooden bow (2007.7456.a) has an unattached bowstring (2007.7456.b). The bow is carved from a lightweight wood and has small notches at each end and a raised point in the center of the concave side. The center of the bow and each end is wrapped in a section of thin strips of bamboo or other plant fiber. The bow string is made from a thin strip of bamboo with a loop of grass-like plant fiber wrapped in thicker strips of plant fiber at each end.
