The short round drum (2007.6295.a) has a drumstick (2007.6295.b). The drum has wooden sides with rawhide stretched over one side and tied on the underside. It is decorated with a sun-like design consisting of concentric circles in yellow and orange with short rays in orange outlined with yellow.

The drumstick has a buckskin head, a straight handle, and a string loop at the free end.
