The small paddle's blade is carved with formline designs in relief. The center design is the face of a beaver, wtih eyes, nose and prominent front teeth. Either side of the head shows a bent front leg, and ovoids at the shoulder and wrist. The cross hatched tail is seen behind both arms.
The handle is wider at the free end with a small cylindrical knob across the end. It is dark yellow wood.
