Description
Inscriptions/Signature

The stylized blocky human figure is identified as the Aztec goddess Chalchiutlicue. It has a human face with large ear frontals. The arms appear to be resting on a very short chest or abdomen. It has short legs. It is carved from light colored stone with a slight sparkle. The sides and back are undecorated except for grooves indicating breaks in the body design on the front.
