Description
Inscriptions/Signature

The standing human figure is identified as Xipe Totec, the Aztec god of agriculture and the seasons. He wears a block-like headdress and a small triangular covering over his genitals. The hands meet in front of the chest. It has a small square base. The sculpture is light pink with darker veins in the stone.
