The unbleached woven wool pillow cover (2007.3164.a) and pillow (2007.3164.b) are rectangular. There is a metal zipper on the reverse which is undecorated. It is filled with a blue and white striped ticking pillow.

There is a large diamond in the center with a stepped border. It has concentric bands of color: red, yellow, black, yellow, light blue, red, light green, and pink with a black border. The design above and below the diamond is the same on both sides: a wide black bar with a yellow diamond at one end, and a black chevron at the other end, with a light blue chevron. There is a red and light blue diamond, divided into four color blocks. A black bar is flanked by yellow and black diamonds and pink and black diamonds, each in four color blocks. There are yellow and black diamonds, in four color blocks, between the large center design and the two flanking designs.

There is a border made up of diamonds with stepped edges in three color variations: a yellow hourglass center in a black diamond with red border, a red hourglass center in a pink diamond with a light blue border, or a light blue hourglass in a yellow diamond with a black border. The long sides are stitched with black yarn.
