The shallow red bowl has decoration on the interior bottom. There is a black cross created from four thin parallel lines. Each space between the arms has a different design. One has a wide red swirl with two black triangle shapes on the outside of the swirl. One has two black trianglular shapes and a straight black line with a squared curlicue at the end. One has a red heart-like shape with a thick black outline that also outlines a red semicircle. One has three black semicircles along the cross and a black triangle with a tail in a large area of red. The tail connects to a large element of the design outside of the cross area that has a large triangular shape with two small triangular shapes on either side with speckled black. The large triangle has a black tip.
