Description

The long, narrow trapezoidal shaped back was created by weaving plant fibers every inch or so around parallel sticks. The domed sunshade has the same structure, and is held in place with struts on either side. The sunshade and struts are held in place with strips of fabric. It was edged in red cotton cloth with unbleached flowers. The sunshade is decorated with alternating chevrons in red or green wool yarn.
