The long horizontal strip is from a third phase a chief's wearing blanket. In the center of the strip is a large, stepped cross shape that is red on the outside, with a grayish brown cross inside of that, followed by another red cross, then a very small white cross in the center. On either side of the large center cross there are two halves of crosses that are the same pattern. At the top and bottom of the strip there are wide bands of dark brown and there is another wide band of dark brown in the center that is interrupted by the large crosses.
