This is a small wooden spindle and a bundle of wool.

2007.0322.01: The small natural-colored wooden spindle is made of a long thin shaft with a cone-shaped wooden whorl approximately one-third of the distance from the bottom. The whorl is flat at both ends with the wider side of the whorl facing the longer section of the shaft. The whorl is divided into three sections by two dark brown lines around the circumference of the whorl. Wrapped around the longer section of the shaft there is a small amount of dark brown wool that has been spun into yarn.
