Description

The tall square metal can has a round lid that fits into a round opening in the top of the can. On the bottom of the can is a circular indentation and four "horseshoe" shaped indentations, one in each corner.

It was used to store white cheese at factories. It would not have been owned by individuals in the camps, because they did not store the cheese, they sold the milk to others making the cheese.
