Description

Kurdish rug with a rectangle in the center that is divided in two. There is a diamond motif in the center of each with a line extending out on each side. Two of the extending lines are bisected by another line making a cross shape. There are geometric motifs around and inside the diamonds. There are fiver borders on all four sides. The innermost, third, and outermost are thin with a rope-like pattern. The second and fourth have circular geometric motifs. There is an additional band on the left side.

Field pattern: large irregular eight-pointed star, rosette, barber pole stripes, central cross, two panels-dark blues, browns, and reds predominate. Border has two stripes
