The glass lantern slide is of a man and woman, identified as Mackenzie Inuit people, standing at the rocky shore of a body of water. Both of them are wearing dark brown parkas with fur trim and brightly colored details near the bottom edge. The man has very short hair and his parka is hip-length. The woman has her hair pulled back and wears a knee-length parka that has more elaborate fur trim and patches of white decorations. In the background are two black and white dogs.
