The wooden pipe bowl (2007.3211.a) has a wooden stem (2007.3211.b). The bowl is carved in the head of an animal, possibly bovine with short horns, directed backward, and small pointed ears below the horns. There is a relatively small hole in the forehead of the animal, presumably for the tobacco. There is a relatively long neck on the animal before it joins the stem. It is a light natural color.
