Description

These four strips of buckskin are wrapped in red and white quills and are joined at a beaded football-shaped topper in dark blue and white. There are tin cones attached midway down the strips and at the end of one strip are tufts of red feathers. The buckskin loop for tying to the hair has green and yellow pigment.

These ornaments were used to tie the bride's braids together, and were flipped to the back to indicate she was married.
