The spear has a light natural colored bamboo shaft and elaborate metal point. The end of the point is diamond shaped but the stem has a barb on the flat side of the blade, and two sets of barbs below that. The point is held in the end of the shaft with string wrapping. There are three sets of short purple feathers near the point. The opposite end has three brown and white striped feathers secured with string and an addtional three sets of short purple feathers.
