Description

The pipe bowl (2007.3530.a) has a stem (2007.3530.b).

The pipe bowl is carved from a light colored wood. It is decorated with burned triangles on the lower portion and burned diamonds around the rim of the bowl. It inserts into the stem.

The pipe stem is carved from wood that is stained dark brown. There are four gold colored bands at the distal end, three bands midshaft, and two near the mouthpiece. Orange tassels hang from the middle and distal groups of bands.
