Group portrait of nine people. It was taken in front of a painted backdrop of a staircase, columns and drapes. In the back row there are three young women, each with their long dark hair worn pulled back into a bun. The woman on the facing left wears a dark cotton short-sleeved blouse or dress over a white cotton blouse. The women in the center and facing right positions both wear white cotton dresses or blouses. Four people are seated in the middle row. On the facing left is a young boy with short dark hair wearing a cotton shirt and dark trousers and holding a light colored hat between his knees. Next to him is a woman with her hair in two braids, in a dark cotton dress wearing a striped shawl around her shoulders. In the center is a young woman with her hair pulled back wearing a white cotton dress. On the far facing right is a woman with her hair in braids wearing a light colored cotton dress under a plaid shawl. In the front row are two young girls, both with their hair worn in braids. The girl on the facing left is wearing a dark wool dress with elk tooth beads along the yoke and sleeves and with light colored bands along the bottom. The girl on the facing right wears a dark wool dress decorated with rows of dentalium shells at the yoke and collar, several beaded necklaces, and beaded moccasins and leggings.

(The two girls in the front row are also in 2007.7508)
