Photograph of a seated woman holding a baby in a cradleboard. Her long dark hair falls over her shoulders, and she is wearing a light colored dress with a dark printed cloth wrapped around her waist and legs. The cradleboard has two long, pointed wooden pickets at the back that are decorated with tacks and the baby is bundled inside a rawhide or leather outer covering.
