This knife (2007.0406.a) has a long, wavy blade. The blade is decorated with longitudinal ridges that end before the first curvature. There are points at either side of the base, though one is far more prominent. The smaller point has a hook above it. The handle is hexagonal in cross section and curves downward slightly. It is made from a medium brown wood. Curlicues are carved into the concave aspect of the handle and near the blade.

The scabbard (2007.0406.b) is made of a brown-orange wood with prominent black grain markings. The portion of the scabbard that covers the blade has brass over the seams and back, decorated with leaves and curlicues. The open end of the scabbard is a curved oval, with a prominent protrusion for the flared point on the blade. The longer side curves up at the end.
