The bowl has a dome-like shoulder and a flattened base. The shoulder is decorated with four carved panels. Two have a chevron with three dots around it. One has a stylized animal with a head at either end, each with two antler-like projections and round eyes. The fourth has a snake with a head at either end. All of the raised surfaces, including the decoration, are black and the recessed surfaces are tan. It has a tan rim and the bottom of the bowl is a mottled orange.
