The red bowl has a wide band of decoration on the outside. The band covers the top half in a white field with repeats of a design in a black block. Two curved triangular shapes stretch and bend from the bottom facing left corner to the facing right side of each block. There is a thin black arch along the facing left side of each block and two white semicircles on the facing right edge of each block.
