The pair of shoes is made from strips of grass. The soles are woven and taper toward the rear, the smallest point turning up to form a back to the shoe. The back attaches to a strap that goes around the top of the foot. The front consists of many small strips of twisted plant fibers.
The shoes are currently tied together with strips of twisted grass.
