This is a knife (2007.0380.a) with sheath (2007.0380.b) and a straight iron blade. It has a wooden handle, colored yellow, and covered with a clear, possibly plastic, cover with brown or purple squiggles. A brass stirrup-like decoration covers the entire end and the front and back of the handle down to the guard. The guard is brass. Both brass elements are embossed with five petal flowers and leaf-like curlicues. Bands of twisted wire are visible where the brass decoration does not cover the handle.

The sheath is iron and the wide brass band at the open end and the covering tip are embossed with the same floral design. It has scalloped edges.
