The wooden spear has a cylindrical shaft with a bone tip. The shaft has a flattened segment near the pointed end between two segments that are wrapped with woven plant fibers forming a key-like design in dark brown and light natural colors. There are downy white and orange feathers below the bottom edge of the woven panel. There are large feathers in orange, yellow, or black and white stripes clustered just under the bone tip, secured with string.
