The narrow wooden bow is decorated with white feathers. The dark brown wood is wrapped with black string in a series of stripes over strips of white plant fiber. Two clusters of yellow and blue feathers lie flat on the bow, one above and one below the handle. There are white feathers along either edge of the bowl.

Twisted bowstring is attached at both ends, but the bow is not curved.
