The rectangular basket has flared sides. There is a buckskin loop in the center rim of one long side, and another loop near the end of the other long side.

The long sides are decorated with four vertical stripes, two are red and white checkerboard and two are black and white checkerboard. The short sides are decorated with three vertical stripes: one black and white checkerboard, two red and white checkerboards. There is a thin red interrupted band near the base. The rim is decorated with white, alternating with red or black.
