Description

The round basket has a wooden handle that is continuous with a ridge through the bottom of the basket and perpindicular to the rim. The handle is stabilized at either end with a large diamond shape of fibers wrapped around the rim and handle. The distinctive horizontal ridged pattern of weave is sometimes called a "melon basket" or an "egg basket."
