The globular teapot (2007.3233.a) has a lid (2007.3233.b) and a curved spout with a loop handle. The pot has two grooves round the shoulder, through the handle, and a dark blue rim. The lid is domed, with a rim that sits into the pot and a small knob.

It would have been used for serving tea, or tea with milk.
