Description

The rectangular metal box is painted red on the outside. There are two hinges on the back of the box and the latch at the front is a hinged latch that hooks over a loop on the bottom where a lock could be placed. There are two loops next to the latch where there may have been a handle at one time. There are six raised circular bumps on the top of the box. The original green paint is visible on the interior and there is some red paint inside the box.

It was used for storing clothing and sometimes food.
