Description

This is a round, kettle-like pot. It was originally a silver color, but the exterior surface is completely blackened. There are two loops, near the lip, through which a thick wire has been strung as a handle. The lid is silver colored, with a handle in the center, two concentric rings, and a lip at the outer edge.

It was used for cooking assida or for making semin (clarified butter). Compare to the ceramic pot 2007.0773.
