The fan has a blade of striped feathers in tones of brown. Some of the striped feathers have been shaped and accented with small tufts of orange, yellow, and green feathers with a metal ball. There is a brightly colored feather glued to the ends of the striped feather with a small square of white fur to cover the joint. Orange feathers decorate around the base.

The handle is covered with light-colored buckskin with a fringe at the end.
