The rattle has a horn head and a wooden handle. The head is made from a segment of dark grey horn with rawhide stretched over either open end. The rawhide is kept in place with a strip of rawhide stretched between. The straight wooden handle has a white yarn loop at the free end. There are loose seed beads inside to make the rattle noise.
