The carved wooden animal head is identified as a water buffalo, with tall ears or horns wrapped with copper wire. The eyes are rounded, but lack detail. The nose is very human-like with a wire loop above the wide portion at the bottom. The head ends directly under the nose and there is a groove on the base that is probably the mouth. The back of the head is decorated with a grid pattern.
