Description
Inscriptions/Signature

The bamboo tube (2007.3667.a) has a flat bamboo lid (2007.3667.b). The tube is decorated with a wide band in the middle consisting of black and light natural checkerboard, red vertical stripes, and black chevrons with red triangles inside. There is a row of narrow black triangles above and below wide band, two rows of burning above and below, and two rows of a tooth-like pattern in red above and below.
The flat lid sits into the open end of the tube. It has a raised starburst-like pattern in dark brown.
