Description

This is one of a set of two small rectangular panels with a metal loop at one end.

2007.3494.01 has a black field and a border with black diamonds that connect at the very narrow points. Each diamond has white cross hatching within and are separated by red or yellow. The top panel of decoration has spirals in red and black with white centers and yellow detail. The second panel has a row of spirals across the top, in black, white and red. The remainder of the square is filled with yellow crosses, outlined in black, red and black, and separated by white. The third panel has a square with four red circles with a yellow circle and "X" in each, and a square with curlicues made of small yellow triangles on black, red and white. There are two squares with a large "X" like design in red, white and black. The bottom panel, the only rectangular (as opposed to square) panel has two four petaled flower designs in white, black and red, with the negative space filled with lines of white, black and yellow.
