Description

The katsina figure is flat from the front to the back. The head is outlined in black with a green face. There are black rectangles for the eyes and mouth. There are red yarn whorls on both sides of the head and a single white downy feather on top of the head. There is black yarn tied around the neck. The body is one white piece. The proper right shoulder is painted green and the proper left is yellow. The proper left hand is green and the proper right is yellow. There are three thick red vertical stripes from the bottom of the figure up on both the back and front.
