Description

The ceramic pot (2007.3059.a) has a lid decorated with a ceramic human head (2007.3059.b). The teapot-like pot has a short neck and narrow mouth. The shoulder is decorated with a band of cross hatching. A spout emerges from the shoulder with a handle looping from the neck to the spout. A second handle is on the side opposite the spout.

The lid has a round base that sits over the top of the neck of the pot. The head is roughly molded and leans to the left. It has facial features and ears but no hair or other decoration.
