The sword has a wavy blade and possibly brass covered handle. The handle is a pistol grip shape, curving down slightly at the end. The metal at the end is decorated with curlicues around the edge. The straight portion of the handle is wrapped with braided plant fiber. The blade is wavy for most of the length. There is a projection at the proximal end, which is notched, and a smaller projection opposite with a small curling hook.
