The wooden drinking cup has slightly flared sides. It is dark brown and is decorated with allover incised pattern consisting of typically Kuba geometric decoration, resembling a basketweave. There is a band of horizontal lines at the top and bottom.

It was used for drinking ceremonial palm wine.
