Description

The wooden plug is oval in cross section. One end is rounded and tapered, the other is flat across. There are three angled grooves near the flat end and a hole at the rounded end with a small bit of buckskin through the hole. It is light brown.

It was used to plug wounds in prey animals to prevent blood loss.
