Description

The slightly curved, dark brown horn container is used to store gunpowder. There is a metal loop with a short chain between the narrow, tube-like end and the slightly rectangular vessel portion (2007.3484.a). There is another curved piece that widens opposite the tube-like end (2007.3484.b). The narrow end appears to insert near the tube.

The vessel is decorated with clusters of incised lines traveling the length of the vessel and small gold colored circles.
