The round coiled basket has flared sides, a flat shoulder, and a short neck. There are two bands of "rattlesnake" motif on the sides and one on the shoulder with a black band with a band of red diamonds and field colored outlines. The edge of the shoulder was once decorated with feathers, including quail top knot feathers, though only small bits remain.
