The hanger is made up of a wooden ring, which is joined at the ends with a thick wire wrapped around the ends and several nails. There are thick plant fibers which are loosely woven to create a flat surface on one side. On the other side are four semicircular loops made from the same thick plant fibers.

It was used to hang items from the ceiling.
