Description

This hatchet has a wooden handle and iron blade. The blade is oriented as an adze blade, and extends through the wooden handle an equal distance in both directions. The blade is flat throughout but comes to a point at one end with a broad surface on the other. The handle has short, there are choppy marks clustered near the blade end, with a few farther down the handle. The wooden portion the blade runs through is square in cross section, though the handle itself is round.
