The "C" shaped bow does not have a bowstring. The ends of the bow are bent sharply inward. The ends are notched and there is a small rectangle of bone at the top and bottom where the bow bends. The bone is held on with sinew. The ends are wrapped with green reptilian skin. The middle of the bow has a small segment of light colored undecorated wood, flanked with short segments of wood covered with green reptilian skin. The bow between the skin wrapped segments appears to be wrapped with plant fiber, which is decorated with painted wavy lines.
