The blanket is made from eider duck skins sewn together. It is rectangular, most of which is a patchwork of light brown downy feathered skins with a white edge, forming rows of scallops. The edges have white, black, and light green feathered skins from the back of the duck's head.

The back is made from more of the light brown breast pelts, but there is no colored decoration along the edge.
