The rectangular rug has fringe on the short ends. The rug is primarily orange, with decoration in blue, white, yellow, and green. There is a scene of a domed mosque in the upper left corner, and a scene of a walled garden in the upper right corner. The bottom 2/3 of the rug shows an Islamic-type arch, atop two columns, with a chandelier suspended, and a floral design in the negative space. A border of stylized botanical elements encloses the entire design.
